This is the tale of Sherbet, a little sheep who kept falling asleep and of a scarecrow who had no name. The scarecrow had wandered away from his field and could not find his way back. He asks Sherbet for help. They find their way to a big, dark wood and a very wise old tree who gives Sherbet a cure for his sleepiness and finds a name for the scarecrow, which he wears proudly on a label round his neck. They are given information by the wise old tree, which they follow together for yet more excitement...
