Coming back in time to help her is none other than Quin’s future counterpart, Ashton Ingram, who is a Sapphire Boy gifted not only with shield capabilities, but also with the ability to cry sapphires that either heal or shield. The team also includes a shapeshifter, a magician, and a person with super hearing. On their path to fixing the problem, Quin and her friends seek help from a conjure woman and solve a mystery involving five graveyards, all the while battling a powerful band of miscreants that includes a person with control over fire, a Stone Hunter intent on capturing the Sapphire Boy, and the sorcerer who caused the problem in the first place. Ages 11+
