Why work hard to be an Aussie hero for doing something really amazing, when you can be a hero for doing something really stupid? The latter is quicker, easier and simpler…isn’t it? Patriotism is the flavour of the day with the country debating the pro’s and con’s of cutting ties with the English motherland. With a republican referendum just around the corner, it’s a very bad time for the newly crowned Queen of England, Camilla, to be caught making snide remarks about Australia.Enter the fiendish young Wesley Black and his hulking half-brother Stew. This brother-team from ‘Bogan Town’ set out to exercise juvenile justice on behalf of their outraged nation (or perhaps just because they have nothing better to do) by hunting down Queen Camilla and splatting her in the face with a water bomb full of blue dye.The boys, freshly graduated from high school, solidly at the bottom of the academic ladder, with a non-existent father and a neglectful, agoraphobic mother, have very little, if anything, restraining them from such a disastrous path. And as one ugly hurdle after another is leaped on the race towards their goal, they overcome these obstacles with various uncivilised and often destructive techniques.But for Wesley, the creator and driving force behind this, as well as many other schemes, he is on this mission for more reasons than just the usual kicks. For Wesley, this is a means by which he can once and for all slay his own personal ‘giant-like’ problems, his own personal Goliath.But as the Black brothers soon find out, they may have bitten off much more than they can chew.
