The Bike Ride

language ( Feb. 25, 2019)
“The Bike Ride” is a short story from a chapter in the author’s book, “Life Along Little Pigeon Creek.” This is a true story that took place in the late 1950’s when the author was about nine years old.

This bike ride started out as a thrill ride down a steep wooded hill, but ended up not as expected. Looking back, it is a humorous incident, but it taught the author a valuable lesson, which he conveys to the reader.
