eBook
(Longhorn Publishers and Worldreader Feb. 17, 2016)
Ngoga and Sano answers the questions some children ask about HIV/AIDS. Sano’s world is full of unanswered questions. Why did his father die? Why are his mother and his sister Ngoga on medication, even though they look healthy? But before he can fully comprehend what’s going on, his mother succumbs to AIDS. As a result, Sano and Ngoga are taken in by relatives. The good relatives help the orphans understand the ways through which HIV is spread and the ways in which it can be prevented. After the new family successfully initiates an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign in the community, Ngoga forms a similar project at his new school.
