After Eventide

Loraine Merriwether, staying with her father at his beach appartment for her tenth grade's summer break, will need to make life altering decisions forced on her by a charismatic gang of medieval vampires. Things get really complicated when Deborah, the vampire in charge of the southwestern United States, finds out about Rain and thinks she might have a use for a human with Loraine's deadly abilities. In a world of vampires clinging to medieval views of women, the moment between sunset and darkness, eventide, is the moment between dependence and personal responsibility. It is after the darkness where even a young girl can find the strength to survive.
