The McBride House Mystery
Fourteen year old Sally Weston and her younger sister, Pippa have moved with their parents to a new home on the banks of Loch Long in Scotland, a militarily strategic area.
Exploring the beautiful surrounding area they stumble upon a large, unoccupied and neglected house. Curiosity overcomes Sally's initial caution and they enter the house to discover that it is full of the previous occupant's furniture and even personal effects – all of which, and the house itself, has very obviously been abandoned
