Can two boys from different parts of the country raised in completely opposite ways become friends? Marty is from the West side of San Antonio and has led a life filled with pain, sadness and disappointment. He avoids making friends in order to protect himself from further pain. Rick is outgoing and loves to be around friends. He and his family have just moved to San Antonio from the Midwest and he has been raised with a family that openly expresses their love for one another and for God. He knows that they have been brought to San Antonio for a purpose. Can Marty be that purpose?
