The girl with a curl in her hair was asleep -
She did this quite often, no need to count sheep.
She slept through the night and most of the day,
Only awaking to go out and play.
“She’s sleeping again,” said her father and mother
“I’ll soon wake her up,” came the words from her brother
But try as he might to keep her awake,
Though he pushed and he pulled and he gave her a shake,
She fell back to sleep six or seven times daily.
The name of this sleepy young lady was Hayley
And, my good friends, without further ado
Her story begins….. in a moment or two.
A spellbinding story of a little witch who goes on a big adventure.
