2000 years ago, the Romans ordered a census. A couple left to travel to Bethlehem. After a long dusty journey, on the back of a donkey there was no room anywhere for the young mother to give birth until a little girl called Sarah had an idea. She was ten and lived in the Shalom Inn. It was her mother’s Inn. She worked there every day but one day things changed for ever. Taking pity on Mary she persuaded her mother to offer the young couple the stable at the back of the Inn.
