The Tubemice Series, for capable readers aged 10 to 12, follows the lives and adventures of mice on the London Underground, called Tubeworld. There they live in the homeholes of Oceanworld, Earthworld, Skyworld and all the other worlds known by Tunnellers as Lines. In this second book of the series, after a dream in which he sees his beloved St. John’s Wood threatened by mysterious Tunneller activity, Joe and his companions decide to leave until all is safe.
