When the five unsuspecting teenagers enter the ship Enger stuns them, chooses one at random and commences the duplication process, knowing that once the duplication is made Enger will not only look exactly like the original but will have all its memories as well – a perfect disguise.When they wake the terrified teenagers flee the ship, unaware that one of them is still aboard and being held in suspended animation. The period of missing time, however, convinces Richard that one of his friends is an alien, an alien with an unknown agenda. He sets out to unmask the alien and determine why it has come to Earth.And all the time the disguised Enger, increasingly tormented by the desire to kill, has been watching.
