Star Born

Edant Nordis is a daughter of the Colony, descendents of political exiles from Earth. Together with her knife brother, T'Suri of the merpeople, she begins the transition-journey, a task she must undertake before she can take her place as a full adult in the Council of Free People.

Her journey takes her to new territory where she makes a new friend and discovers evidence that a ruthless enemy, long conquered, is awakening.
