When Pigs Can Fly!
language
( April 30, 2017)
A colourful children's story about fitting in and getting along, despite any differences.
A young farm boy witnesses the growth of some unique and wonderful animals on his small family farm. Eddy's favourite was the smallest piglet from the newest litter. The behaviour of this young piglet worries the nine year old boy. He does not want his favourite animal to be alone! There is more worry, when his dad tells him that they might move off the farm!
Eddy talks to his Grandpa for some help, because he never wants to leave the farm. Grandpa tells a story from his boyhood days, about another pig from this same farm. This farm animal had tried to fit in with the other pigs, but it failed. And then unexpectedly, a lost goose lands on the farm and befriends the unpopular pig. Grandpa’s story gave Eddy an idea, and it works!
