While strolling through the woods on their way to the next village, Minecraft Steve and Minecraft Alex and her donkey are suddenly confronted by a strangely dressed and very angry archer who is convinced that Steve and Alex are a pair of wicked kidnappers responsible for spiriting away his missing friend Marian. Steve and Alex are further astonished when they realize that the archer has traveled hundreds of years through time in search of his friend! Later, Steve is both delighted and shocked when he discovers that the archer is none other than the legendary Robin Hood, a hero who lived in Sherwood forest many centuries ago.
Steve and Alex join forces with Robin and Friar Tuck and travel hundreds of years back in time to help Robin find his friend Maid Marian who has been kidnapped by Robin’s evil half-brother, Lord Robert de Montfort. But there’s a glitch in the time portal and the group of friends find themselves marooned in a strange twilight world with vicious flesh-eating monsters. The friends must now fight their way out this eerie world and find a way to escape through the time portal once more. They need to get back to Robin’s world in Nottingham as soon as possible because Lord Robert is a dangerous enemy with a small army of men at his disposal, who will stop at nothing to destroy Robin.
Eventually they find themselves in the world of Robin Hood and his friends, hundreds of years in the past in the time of medieval villages and castles. With Lord Robert’s soldiers and an angry mob of townsfolk after them, our heroes have to flee for their lives – and figure out how to rescue Maid Marian from the clutches of the evil Lord Robert who is keeping her prisoner in Loxley Castle. But how are they going to get inside the heavily guarded castle and, once inside, will they be able to overcome the guards and manage to rescue Marian at last?
