Let Your Fingers Do the Walking on the Violin Fingerboard: Scales Aren't Just a Fish Thing - Igniting Sleeping Brains through Music

language ( June 30, 2017)
'Let Your Fingers Do the Walking on the Violin Fingerboard' is a part of the Scales Aren't Just a Fish Thing curriculum giving even students with learning differences an opportunity to study the violin and memorize amazingly quickly. Colored notes are extremely helpful for those with Dyslexia. Young students learn music theory despite their inability to understand the complexity of the concepts they can manipulate. Start with the Parts of the Violin and the Parts of the Violin Bow. Next, use this book and follow it with the Pretwinkle book, Twinkle and Guppies, Salmons and then Graduates. This will take a student through the first book of the Suzuki repertoire and much more with lots of extra songs we all should know. "The Keepers' is Book 2, "The Manatees" Book 3 and "The Dophins" Book 4. Add to this the Fiddle Songs and Canons and you will not only 'know' how to play the violin but you will have become a musician.
