Evelyn Starsprocket is a citizen of the Clockwork City, also known by many as the city of wisdom, dubbed as such owing to the brilliant and innovative minds that the city has produced during it short yet significant existence.
Content with her life, Evelyn, a brilliant polymer engineer, would like to do nothing more than get married, start a family and press on with her tinkering. For her the Clockwork City is much more than just her home, its her entire world. But when she receives a troubling letter from her father in London, Evelyn realizes that everything she has ever held dear may come to a bitter end.
