Not so far in the future, America is much the same, except for one little thing:
Kids.
Where are they?
Infertility is rampant throughout the country. The headlines blame obesity.
Sixteen-year-old Mia is glad she doesn’t have to think about having kids, even though she has a super-hot boyfriend. She has enough to worry about: paying her rent, utilities and groceries; the recent rash of neighborhood break-ins, and her boss suddenly testing everybody for drugs.
Mia, forever the optimist, has no idea how bad things could get.
But somebody else does.
