Guess what I get to be in. A S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G B-E-E! Each round I win will bring me one step closer to the BIG spelling bee that’s on TV every May. I’d better P-R-A-C-T-I-C-E!

Jack’s running for class president! But he has a lot of competition. Smart Joseph San Drana, mean Vee Maytag, class clown Tomas Pensky, and Little Miss Perfect Ariyah Young are all up against him. And sometimes power—or even the thought of power—can go to people’s heads.

My Sunday school teacher gave us an assignment this month: to do some sort of service project that directly benefits others. My friends and I have a great idea in mind—but will it work out? And what should I do about my new pen pal, who’s very different from what I expected?
