Once again Albert’s laziness gets the best of him in “Albert and Pogo See a Ghost.” The day begins quite innocently as Pogo invites Albert to join him on his scowl for a leisurely cruise around the swamp, taking advantage of the beautiful day. Albert is happy to go along, just so he doesn't have to do any of the rowing.

However, it doesn't take long before Albert wants to go to sleep leaning against his favorite tree, leaving Pogo to tour the swamp alone. But when Pogo rows back out to the center of the swamp and is all alone, he begins to hear voices. Frightened that there’s a ghost – or several – in the swamp, Pogo throws his oar toward the voices as commanded by the ghosts, and thus begins a most unusual day in the Okefenokee Swamp! Searching for the ghosts, frightened Pogo is heard to say, ““Man, oh, man! If Ah see’s anythin’ invisible, Ah will jes’ about die!” causing Bullfrog to wonder how anyone could see something invisible.

Your young readers will laugh, learn, and fall in love as they turn the pages of this excellent book. They’ll meet up with all sorts of characters from the swamp and will keep coming back as they wonder what Albert Alligator and Pogo Possum will do next. In this particular adventure the dynamic duo meet swamp characters like Mouse, Bullfrog, Rackety Coon, and many others.
