Rosie would rather be playing football in the mud rather than visiting an auntie she as only met as a baby. When she arrives at her auntie's house she finds it is big with a very overgrown garden. When she meets her Auntie she immediately likes her and takes her up on the offer to explore the rest of the house and garden. In the garden she meets a new friend, a very green-fingered new friend who is both rooted to the spot and stays in bed...the flower-bed.
