Rhyme and Read: Take a Look

Take a Look features stories about the community and family around each young child. Each mini-book relies on basic vocabulary and illustrations to tell a rhyme. Teachers reproduce mini-books; students color, assemble, and read! The larger, half-page size is great for smaller hands and can be used at circle time or for small-group readings.

Each mini-book is preceded by two pages of teacher resources related to the story and other fun, flexible suggestions for using the mini-books. Resource pages at the end include patterns for book covers and a reading list.
