The story takes our main character through change and follows his emotional detachment and then attachment to the new family member with an unexpected, heartwarming change in attitude. A smart, contemporary message teaching inclusion of all no matter what, teaching pride and protectiveness, teaching unselfish behavior and finally and most important, teaching LOVE at a tender age.
