About the Author

J. C. Parker and her husband, Lex, are both active duty military and have moved across the country with their two daughters, Maya and Eva. They have four cats: Smokey, Cocoa, Oreo, and Cookie, who have brought humor, joy, and inspiration to this book. Born and raised in Broadalbin, New York, J. C. attended the University of Georgia and Troy University, earning a master's degree in global studies. When not working, she likes to explore the area with her family, looking for new parks, museums, zoos and other adventures.
