Josefine from Germany is going to Canada for three months to polish up her English knowledge and… falls head over heels in love. She is floating in seventh heaven until she falls from the clouds, as she all of a sudden realizes that he is not the person she thought he was.
He’s got a grim history and he can’t just shake it off. Not only has Josefine to learn and accept this, she must also overcome rejection and lack of understanding, if they are to have a future together.
