About the Author: Chris Smart is twelve years old. He had a vision of beating Gordon Korman's record of writing his first book when he was twelve. Chris started the Stone of Ages at the age of ten and finished it a few months shy of his twelfth birthday. The characters from the Stone of Ages are alive in Chris's imagination, and you can be sure he has many more adventures for them!
