The Golden Sail
language
( April 8, 2018)
The boy Jan longs for the return of his father, who vanished when he went in search of the ship with the Golden Sail. Every day Jan stands at the edge of the sea and scans the horizon, his heart full of hope. His friend, the blind netmaker Samos, thinks the boy needs to let go. Then the day comes when the two are swept away in a strange adventure that will require a
kind of letting go that Jan could never have imagined. (A short story of approximately 5,000 words.)
