This is the first Stubborn Stanley book. Stubborn Stanley is just that. One STUBBORN goat! He was born among the rocky cliffs of 'Ole Mt. Stag Horn. He grew up in the highlands overlooking the peaceful little meadow below. As Stanley grew older, he and the other kids played in the rough terrain of their mountainous home. One day they ventured down the mountain to an area close to the meadow. In this first adventure, Stanley encounters a big red monster, or so he believes...
