Known as the prequel of the Alice's books namely: Alice Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There, the Alice in Wonderland story is an exciting and interesting fantasy story that has been portrayed in various movies and TV series for both adults and children to enjoy (except for that of Tim Burton (2010) where he made lots of changes from the original story and focused on the bad, horrific, and nightmarish part of the Wonderland. We don't think we want children to see this version).
One of the reasons we are rooting for the Alice in Wonderland story is because it features colorful, delightful, and exciting characters who Alice met in Wonderland, like The Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire cat, Tall Flower Faces, Tweedledum and Tweedledee twins, Dodo, Frog Footman, and the Red Queen.
Asides this fascinating team of Wonderland characters who portrayed different roles, some that made us laugh so hard, and some who made us worry for our favorite character, Alice, this story taught us some life lessons that we want our kids to learn from.
One of the lessons we learn from Alice in Wonderland is that growth is essential for every human. Just like Alice who had to enter the Wonderland to mature and grow out of her childish ways, it is important everyone grows to become the best of them.
Another lesson we learn is that no matter how weird and "crazy" we see people to be, we shouldn't judge them. We should only love them for who they are.
Also, Alice in Wonderland teaches us to learn from whatever situations we find ourselves, regardless of our disturbing and negative that experience might be for us at that time, we need to pick the intended lessons from that particular experience and use it to make our lives better.
There are lots of things to enjoy and learn from Alice in Wonderland, and this is why we have decided to dedicate this cookbook to Alice in Wonderland, as a means of teaching our kids how to make delicious meals, and also to be better people as they grow.
