Pathfinder

Bob and Rose never knew their parents. They are twelve years-old and live in an alley in an almost empty city. A Pathfinder came looking for recruits, with a test, and Rose passed but Bob didn’t. The Pathfinder explained to Rose that if she came with him she would learn to go become a Pathfinder and go to the stars, or die trying. The Pathfinder told her that he would help her and everyone there would want her to succeed but it was still a very big risk. Rose refused to go without Bob, and the Pathfinder reluctantly agreed, but is she taking Bob to a much better world, or will he die with her? And the more they find out about pathfinders the more they find they have to loose.
