This is the story of a family who lives close to the Rio Grande Canyon and has a sheep farm. Miguel is the middle son who is often questions his position in the family. This story actually depicts boys growing up and the changes they go through. It is a part of a proposed trilogy written by the author, Joseph Krumgold.
