Emily Brown is a girl without influential name, an orphan since childhood and she is a
pupil of the cruel and covetous count Richard Von Gradt. She grew
up, not knowing anything about her father and remembering
just a little her mother. The mystery of Emily’s origin
is covered with darkness and is reliably protected by her
rigorous guardian.

Jonathan and William are two brothers from the very noble
Winderbaker family. They are very different, but they have
a sincere fraternal love for each other. So it will be until
Emily appears in their life by the will of circumstances and
then brotherly affection will be subjected to severe tests.

Emily, not knowing that she caused the disagreements between
two brothers, desperately tries to survive in conditions of
discrimination against women of the late 19th and early 20th
centuries. Her complicated and tortuous life is filled with
secrets, brutal treatment by lustful men and the humiliation
by powerful women from wealthy families. But their roads
with the Winderbaker brothers are constantly intersected
by the will of fate.
