A story of adventure, mystery, and suspense. Teenager Allan Hedrick has been interested in aircraft and flying, from earliest memory. He has exciting adventures flying in small aircraft. When powered parachutes became available, he was elated—he could learn to fly one.
When Allan observes a forest ranger regularly meeting people at the airport and driving away with them, and hearing rumors of illegal dog fights happening ‘somewhere’ near the national forest, Allan wonders if the ranger has turned bad; is a member of a crime ring. Since the ranger is the brother of his girlfriend, he wants to prove his innocence----if he can, and begins to investigate, along with some friends. This leads to more adventure and danger than he had imagined, especially after finding marijuana plots in the woods, danger escalates for them—will they find answers—and still survive?
