This is an adventure packed story about two kids , Jim and Dafni Carson and their dad, research scientist Jack Carson who's work took them to Alaska and living in the shadow of America's tallest mountain. The mountain known once as Mt McKinley and now by its original and Indian name Denali.
They fished the Big Sus on the outskirts of Talkeetna, adopted a forlorn wolf pup who barely escapes the jaws of a grizzly bear. From dog sledding the tundra, fishing the wild rivers of Alaska , flying across glaciers of Alaska's massive backcountry to climbing on one of the world's largest mountains, this is an adventure and a series that you won't want to miss.
Jack's work takes them around the globe and to the peaks of one of the 7 highest mountains on Earth, Denali. Studying the effects of high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) and its effects on man. Together with former Ace Navy Aviator and legendary bush pilot Scott Jackson, Captain Martin Mankato head of the Denali Rangers, world renowned mountaineer Austin Sorenson, they face the dangers of Denali's untamed wild. Avalanches, Flash freezing and sudden storms that threatens life itself are only a few of the dangers they face. These are people who are willing to put their lives on the line for others, without regard for their own safety.
A simple evacuation flight turns into a fiasco after they are hit by a freak snowstorm. This is their story of survival. Jim and Dafni share in the adventure and become the first ever Kid Rangers as they are honored for their courage and bravery when they save the life of a friend.
