Jackson is the story of a small town girl who has longed forever to get a puppy. On her thirteenth birthday her dream comes true, but the puppy comes with an added surprise – he is magically able to heal people just by licking them! The intrigue builds as Libbie and her best friend embark on a series of adventures that include a bout with the tabloids, a kidnapping, a dognapping, a run-in with the Feds and her sister’s fight with cancer; all while adjusting to becoming teenagers.
