Marco the Malta Bus Memory Flash Cards are designed to accompany Marco the Malta Bus Book 1. Within the list of words there are all the words needed to be able to read over 25% of any children's book in English according to research done by Warwick University. ScienceDaily states: "After learning new words, brain sees them as pictures. The findings not only help reveal how the brain processes words, but also provides insights into how to help people with reading disabilities, says Maximilian Riesenhuber PhD." Download these Memory Flash Cards and gradually show them to your child until they can recognise them. Then the child is ready to read them on the pages and detect them in the amusing story about Marco and his friends, designed to be read by an adult. Only read the book as far as your child has pre- learned the words.
