A few years ago a old stray cat came to our porch. It's fur was matted and dirty and he looked really 'just about done in'. It was in the middle of winter; and in Canada, 'those winds sure can blow cold out there'. We put food out, but when we tried to get the cat to come in he just ran away. He would come on the porch each day for food but then run away. One day he never came to our porch; probably spending his last day somewhere in the cold. I still think of this cat. T. Holmes is a retired community college teacher and he writes books for young readers. For those who still believe: "That Somewhere Out There, There Is Someone For Everyone." Very nice stories for youngsters and those who are young at heart.
