As always, witty prose, fun, and education will be at the heart of these works. "The Older" is a wonderful poem story that teaches children about growing old. Harry has this unique way of communicating with the youth of today. His words along with the vibrant animated images will make your child want to read it again and again. As you and your child go through the book together, you will be able to discuss the subject of death. Once a taboo subject for kids, this book will make the perfect bridge to answer all those questions that children have when a love one passes away. The pictures are colorful and happy and so the approach is positive and happy and the humor is well done. Children can say the darndest things and those types of questions are addressed in a professional way but with tenderness. The people in the book are derived from Harry's own family and his favorite nephew.
