The untimely death of fifteen-year-old brother, Brian, leaves Dana desperate for comfort in her grief. In the forest near the family mountain cabin, Dana meets a fantasy friend, Jenny. With the help of Jenny and Mother Nature, Dana moves from apathy to energy, pain to beauty, from grief to gratitude. Everyone touched by great loss can relate to Dana's story.
Writing "A Bow of Promise" helped clarify the healing process for me in the death of my younger son, Ian. How grateful I am to have the comfort and support of my older son, Rod, as well as family and friends.
