Alyssa Serene knows she shouldn't feel dissatisfied with her life. She enjoys her work as a graduate student at a prestigious Maine university. She loves her family and her brainy best friend, George. She has everything she could possibly want... everything, that is, except Eddie Mann - movie star and all around heartthrob, and the object of Alyssa's obsession.
When George inadvertently discovers a glitch in the space-time continuum that opens a wormhole to travel back in time five years, Alyssa realizes this is her opportunity to meet Eddie Mann before he was famous, when he was just another student at the very same university she now attends.
