Craig Webb, new to town, gets in a card game with a cheat and after an argument has to kill to avoid being killed. There is uproar and Craig Webb has to flee with a price on his head. He goes into Colorado forests, finds an abandoned cabin and takes it over. He finds Abbi arguing with a man and rescues her near a small town while out hunting.

Meanwhile the Carson gang have taken over the town. Without a sheriff to call on, Craig is forced to go back and fight to bring law and order back to the bloody streets.
