The story talks about a science competition projected in the school and the science teacher who announced the grand presents, additional marks in the examinations and the prestigious reward in front of chief guest for the student who will achieve the utmost participation in the project.
This competition as it apparently presented a beautiful paragon of presents, provoked many students to participate in it but however the reward was restricted to only one student.
The story talks about a very intelligent student named Danial who was bright and used to attain first position in all tests and examinations while on the other hand a student named Bill who was completely inverse of him, he was very lazy as compared to Danial.
So Bill tried his best to make Danial out from the competition but he failed and when Danial achieved first position in the competition and it was time when the science teacher announced his name and a huge voice echoed of people’s clap and Danial came on the stage but as he began to talk with them suddenly the light was off and it was all dark in the hall.
The sudden dark made everyone troubled but no one knew the actual reason behind it.
It was Bill and his friends who did this and later on they paid for this action greatly.
The story is very fruitful for children to know that it is diligence which is required for success and you don’t have to fear for what others are going to do in your way.
