MacGNOME THE BRAVE: Book 3

Did you know that having a garden gnome reduces the value of a house by 10%. The idea for the third book in the MacGnome series came from a recent national newspaper story of garden gnomes reducing the value of people's homes by 10%. Carter Blowbottom, the local Member of Parliament, is the true villain of this smart little story. He exaggerates the claim to 20%, intending to raise his profile for the coming election and plans to introduce a law to get rid of gnomes by recycling them. This immediately causes a panic amongst homeowners who start to put out their gnomes for recycling. MacGnome gets to hear about this and decides to do something about it. As it is Halloween it dawns on him that by using the powers that gave him life on the Stiperstones, he can bring life to all the other gnomes. Come midnight he set his plans into operation, which brings thousands of gnomes to life. Arriving in London at night, hundreds of thousands of gnomes storm Parliament, many scrambling up the building, but the vast majority storm inside, overcoming the security who are paralyzed by amazement at the sight of so many gnomes. Entering the parliament chamber they stop Blowbottom speaking, carry and drag him outside and throw him into the River Thames. Then they make a quick getaway whilst it is still dark to enable them to jump onto lorries and trains to get back to their homes. The people who see all of this on tlevision cannot believe their eyse, thinking it is part of a movie. So they no longer put out their gnomes for recycling and MacGnome has once again saved the day!
