Kaleidoscope

Set in the summer holidays of the 1970’s, two eight year old girls embark on a magical adventure; taking them from the boredom of a dull rainy day and transporting them through the mysterious tunnels of the Kaleidoscope, a portal to where an extraordinary discovery awaits! Josie and Janet are the best of friends and Janet enjoys listening to Josie’s stories as they always seem so realistic. It is a long summer holiday and the rain has left Josie stuck at home with her older brother Trev whilst their mum is at work. Josie misses her mum whilst she’s gone, often occupying her time through her imagination. Josie introduces Janet to the mysterious creature known as Badger, who uses his magic to take them on a journey through the twists and turns of the Kaleidoscope. Badger must ensure Josie and Janet are returned home safely before Trev notices they have gone!
