Marina and the Little Green Boy: In the City / Marina y el niño verde: en la ciudad

In this entertaining new book the little green boy finally convinces Marina's family to take him out on the town. After deciding on an appropriate disguise, Papa and Marina help the little green boy discover the wonders of city life. At first he is afraid of the noise and bustle of the city, but with his family's help the little green boy finds the courage to get on the bus and try new things. He sees where Papa works, plays on the swings, rides in a spaceship at the fair, and even sheds a tear when Papa and Marina take him to see a film about aliens. Children and parents alike will have a great time learning about city life with the little green boy and his new family.

Antonio Vicente has taught creative writing to both children and adults and has given numerous conferences to teachers on the educational value of stories. He is the author of La pulga Leocadia (Leocadia the Flea), a storybook with activities for blind children.
