Raccoons are sometimes referred to as masked mischief makers. These creatures love to be out at night. They have managed to survive in very large cities. So it would not be unusual for you to find a raccoon trying to open your garbage can with its human-like front paws. It is not impossible for a raccoon family to make its home in a large tree in someone's backyard. Raccoons living in cities and towns have to be quite creative. Readers will learn how these animals are able to take care of themselves and thrive among humans.
