Derrick Barrett
Gorilla Warfare: Based On An Actual Childhood Nightmare
eBook
Based on an actual childhood nightmare, author Derrick Barrett recollects on times when his own imagination in his childhood, went overboard during real-life situations: from a stuffed teddy bear which looked like a grizzly, to a field trip gone awry. In this extra-ordinary story, the author explains why he's afraid of going to an upcoming field trip, due to a story on the evening news: where a busload of schoolchildren and their teacher, going on a field trip to a museum, are kidnapped by a small band of "guerilla" soldiers in Colombia, South America...and THAT'S just the tip of the iceberg. The plot of the story unfolds into a cornucopia of action, comedy, suspense and adventure--painted through the eyes of a first grader. Mr. Barrett's 1970s flashback adventure is a whimsical story for readers of all ages, who will enjoy it over and over again.Derrick Barrett was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, USA.
