Michael Williams is the author of several children’s titles, which include the best-selling Black Scientists & Inventors series. He develops educational packs / resources which are available in print and electronic media format. In between running one of his publishing companies, he can be seen giving presentations and workshops to both children and adults on the theme of black history.

Ama Duah aka A.A.D. was born in London during the 1960’s to Ghanaian parents. She resides in London and has been a practising nurse and midwife for more than 17 years; she has 4 children. Since 2004, A.A.D. has been writing and sharing poetry with young people and adults alike, via assemblies, workshops and sessions. She likes the challenge of reading historical information and translating it for young people to read in an enjoyable and digestible fashion. Heavy! Is her forthcoming book with a difference of ‘Teen Life’ poetry from A.A.D. aka Ama Duah.

Cindy Soso is both an accomplished artist and graphic designer, who has worked on many projects both for large blue chip companies and for private and grass roots community institutions. She is currently co-director of a graphic design house. She also regularly gives workshops and presentations on art and black history.
