New Assar is reeling, and the Wind Riders are to blame. A powerful storm has left New Assar in shambles and wary Assarins and Anzarins have pointed accusing fingers at the Wind Riders. The Council Eminent is holding Galen, Kolo, and Hal as prisoners, believing that they brought the storm and its ghostly riders as an act of war, while soldiers on horseback relentlessly chase the Blue Hawk across the Heraldic Hills, seeking their missing King.
