The Twin Travelers

(Independently published June 24, 2017)
Justine Freeman is an average, 15 year old, high school student. She has a twin brother and a best friend, who acts more like her twin, Kelly Baxter. One regular day after lunch, the three, along with another friend, find themselves inexplicably transported backwards through time to the year 1957. Justine has no idea how this was possible or why it would have happened. Kelly, on the other hand, is the type who has been expecting something extraordinary like this to happen her entire life.As the friends try to figure out how to get back home, they become entangled in a strange murder plot. Trusting each other and using their quick wits, they safely maneuver their way through. However, just when it seems they are about to succeed in going back to the present day; they wind up in the year 2037. In this strange future, everyone is required to have an identifying device known as a "pendant." When the teens arrive without any, they are immediately detained by authorities. Still having only each other to rely upon, and no possible way to escape; they realize their adventure is far from over yet.
